Interview Authorization is the permission layer of the Verolex Interview System. It defines whether a reviewed or verified interview record may proceed to a result, and what limits govern that result.
Authorization identifies the result type, source material, permitted use, visibility, recipient, exclusions, and action permitted before any result is produced, displayed, saved, routed, shared, disclosed, or externally used.
Authorization comes before Result. Verolex follows the rule of Authorized Results Only.
Purpose
The purpose of Authorization is to prevent premature, unclear, or overbroad use of interview materials. A reviewed record may be ready for further action, but it still cannot produce a result until the permitted result and its limits are defined.
Interview Review → Interview Authorization → Interview Result
Authorization preserves separation between preparation, review, improvement, permission, and result production.
Authorization Elements
Interview ScopeDefines the interview context, such as employment interview, practice-area interview, partner discussion, client-facing interview, or internal review.
Result TypeDefines what kind of result may be produced, such as private preparation summary, scorecard, issue list, question set, readiness review, or result-use summary.
Source MaterialDefines which uploaded files, interview answers, notes, forms, records, or other materials may be used to produce the result.
Permitted UseDefines how the result may be used, including private preparation, internal review, interview planning, employer-side review, or another approved use.
Visibility / RecipientDefines who may see the result, including participant only, internal team, employer, candidate, recruiter, institution, or another approved recipient.
ExclusionsDefines what must not be used, included, disclosed, routed, saved, or relied upon in the result.
Permitted ActionDefines what may happen after the result is produced, including display only, save, revise, route, prepare for later review, or no external action.
Authorization StatusDefines whether the authorization is complete, incomplete, limited, denied, or requires further clarification before Result may proceed.
Authorization Limits
Upload is not authorization — submitting material does not authorize a result or external use.
Review / Verify is not authorization — a reviewed or verified record still requires permission before Result acts.
Advisor is not authorization — improvement guidance does not authorize disclosure, routing, or result production.
Private preparation is not external disclosure — a participant-only result does not authorize sharing with another recipient.
One result type does not authorize another — a preparation summary does not authorize a scorecard, referral packet, employer-facing output, recruiter-facing output, or market-facing statement.
Recipient must be defined — no result should be routed, disclosed, or shared unless the recipient is expressly authorized.
Excluded content remains excluded — client names, employer names, compensation details, confidential strategy, sensitive facts, or other excluded information must remain outside the result.
Governance
Authorization is the control point between review and result production. It prevents the system from using materials beyond the approved scope and preserves participant or employer authority over visibility, permitted use, recipient limits, exclusions, and next action.
Interview Authorization does not produce the final result. It creates or confirms the authorization record that the Result layer must obey.
Required discipline: if interview scope, result type, source material, permitted use, visibility, recipient, exclusions, permitted action, or authorization status are unclear, the record should not proceed to Result.
Interview Authorization Workspace
Use the Interview Authorization workspace to define or confirm the authorization record before moving to Interview Result.
Next Step
After Authorization, the Result layer may produce only the authorized result within the approved scope, source material, visibility, exclusions, and permitted use.
