Core fact: TokenPass is paid usage that supports governed execution. It is not “always on.”
Token usage occurs only on request, such as Run Search, Generate Result, or Verify against file.
TokenPass Selection
Selected Service Event
You selected a TokenPass service event from the published Rate Card.
Status: Selected, not yet authorized.
Selection initiates the TokenPass path. Confirmation completes authorization. No tokened service event proceeds by selection alone.
Next Step
You may purchase TokenPass access, authorize use if tokens are available, or return to the Rate Card. No TokenPass service event proceeds until authorization is confirmed.
This block does not deduct tokens. It routes the client toward purchase, authorization, or review.
TokenPass in Verolex Orientation
Verolex separates timed voice access, governed service-event usage, and permission to act. The user should understand these distinctions before requesting a tokened action.
TimePass
Timed access to VVC.
TokenPass
Defined VCV service-event usage.
Authorization
Permission before action may proceed.
Reading orientation content, navigating pages, or selecting a mode does not consume TokenPass. Opening or continuing a VVC session may require TimePass. Requesting a defined VCV service event may require TokenPass. Neither pass replaces user authorization.
Mode selection
VCV operating capability may appear on select pages and surfaces. Tokened actions may be invoked within one or more modes depending on the page’s governed design.

When Tokens Apply
TokenPass applies only when the user requests a defined service event. A service event should identify the action, the applicable rate, and the authorization required before token deduction or result production.
- Search — internal, account-authorized, or external retrieval through governed search.
- Verify — claim review against page text, authorized file, or multiple sources.
- File — extraction, taxonomy normalization, file brief, or version comparison.
- Result — structured memo, matrix, risk register, package, or governed output.
